About
Eimear Keane.
Chartered Sports Physiotherapist
VIA Physiotherapy is a private physiotherapy clinic based in Drumcondra Dublin 3. We offer expert, evidence-based care for people of all ages and abilities. Whether it's everyday aches and pains or high-level sports injuries, VIA aims to help you understand your injury and get back to doing what you love.
I deliver consistent, evidence-based care across all settings — from professional sport and private practice to my other post as a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal triage at Tallaght University Hospital where I work in outpatient Triage clinics with various orthopaedic surgeons. My work is grounded in clinical reasoning, with a strong focus on accurate diagnosis, structured treatment planning, and individualised care aligned with each person's goals.
I value clear communication and education, supporting people to better understand their injury or pain, restore movement, and return to meaningful activity and performance.
My approach to strength-based rehabilitation has been shaped by my work in professional sport and working within large multi-disciplinary teams, where I developed a structured, data-driven model centred on objective assessment and progressive loading — principles that underpin how I practise today.

The name
'Via' originates from the Latin word for 'way,' 'road,' or 'path' — a route taken or a method used. The word indicates a stopover, an intermediate step, or the channel through which something is achieved. Perfectly applicable for how we help you get back to things you love.
